• Driving is the easiest way to get here and to explore the Médoc.
• By train: Lesparre-Médoc station is about 10 minutes away, then bus or taxi to Bégadan.
• By plane: Bordeaux-Mérignac airport is about 1 h 10 by road.
• Private parking for up to 4 cars, plus secondary parking.
• Large free public car park about 50 m away, by the town hall.
• Electric vehicle charging available on site.

🏡 The house

• Very quiet house in the centre of the village, set back from the road.
• Fibre internet, around 250 Mb/s — ideal for remote work and streaming.
• Reversible air conditioning (cooling and heating) in every bedroom.
• No air conditioning in the main living room: the old stone wine store (“chai”) keeps the ground floor naturally cool.
• Pellet stove in the living area for cooler evenings.
• Blackout curtains in the bedrooms (no roller shutters).
• Washer-dryer, iron and drying rack.

🏊 Swimming pool

• Private pool heated from 15 April to 15 October.
• 8 × 4 m, about 1.40 m deep — great for ball games.
• No diving, due to the depth.
• Key-operated automatic safety cover meeting French safety standards.
• Children must remain under their parents’ supervision.

📋 House rules

• Non-smoking property.
• No pets.
• Parties are allowed, provided the neighbours are respected.
• Quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am — please keep outdoor noise reasonable.

• Within 50 m: grocery (bread, tobacco), pharmacy, hairdresser and beauty salon.
• 10 minutes away in Lesparre-Médoc: Lidl, Leclerc, Carrefour and Netto supermarkets (click & collect at Leclerc and Carrefour), plus delicatessens.

• Use the air conditioning and dryer in moderation; favour natural ventilation.
